This restaurant, nestled in the heart of Taikooli, Shanghai, is a unique blend of nature and sophistication. Our innovative concept for this project was to bring the vineyard experience indoors, creating a walk-in vineyard that is sure to captivate your senses. Step into our interior design, a visual journey through the art of wine production. The wood sticks on the wall, initially representing branches, gradually transform into the wine cellar shelves, displaying a curated collection of fine wines. This transformation is a testament to the journey from grape to wine, a process that we invite you to discover and appreciate. Lighting system dimmers change the colour of the light according to the time of the day. So, our grapes, colour-led lighting, change colour and intensity like a fine wine with time to pink and dark red.  The overall atmosphere is wanted to be beige, so light beige bricks are used. Each brick is adjusted with a unique pattern to create movement, like wind blowing on the wall, with the bricks rotating in response. Full-height dark grey leather boards are like a warm blanket in the space, warming our guests on the second floor. All couches and the VIP room membranes use this dark grey, creating a strong contrast with the rest of the space and visually underlying the seating level. This new venue can be a bar or a restaurant, as it matches both function and atmosphere. Customers will feel comfortable having a drink or dinner any time of the day or night. The bar on the ground floor level at the façade corner offers an excellent display with the wine cellar in the background to the customers walking by. The first floor wants to be more welcoming and more open, while the second floor wants to be more intimate with less seating, offering two VIP rooms on each side. The subtle elegance reminds us of European places and attracts Shanghai guests needing a space journey.
